Darla wrote her first song in high school with no thought of ever writing again. But when she found herself leading worship in a local church she stepped out and put her two passions together…writing and her love for the Lord. Darla says” I kept falling in love with worship songs but when I attempted to teach them to the band many times they were too difficult rhythmically or musically. “Here Comes Your Mercy” was a response to this challenge. In her first project, songs like, “He Lives In Me”, remind us of the miracle of salvation, that God would choose to live in man. “I Choose to Rejoice” encourages worshippers to “lift up their praise” no matter how they feel.
