Saxaphonist and composer with Russian family backround among the most prominent contemporary saxaphonist in Slovak jazz. In addition to active touring with Slovak and Eurpoean jazz top is organizing jazz events. In 2012 released his debut album, Personal Suite, which is a unique authors personal testimony of talented musician. On it was introduced with slovak jazz legends Gabriel Jonas (piano), Juraj Griglák (double bass) and Jozef Döme (drum). Characteristics of Nikolajs music is unique feel for the tone, original approach to composition and expression, which often combinesthe world of jazz with classical music.
