Big Up is an appreciation, acknowledgement and an expression of gratitude to the thousands of Barbadians past and present who have helped in one way or another to shape the cultural landscape of the island through music. Writers Ian Webster and Cheyne Jones of TridentWorks thought it fitting to highlight the phenomenal efforts of the Barbadian music family to commemorate country's 50th year of Independence.
