简介
Although recently moved to Los Angeles Joshua has moved around extensively over his career, geographically and stylistically. His first involvement in original music was in his hometown of Perth, Western Australia, in Tim Minchin's band "Timmy The Dog", who released the album "Sit". He has also had some involvement with Tim in his subsequent comedy career and they continue to be good friends. After Tim's move to comedy he turned down joining a number of burgeoning Australian artists before deciding to move to London. He spent 3 years there, fronting Indie-rock band "The Stuns", who released the album "Life After The Black Box", for which he also did the artwork. Now living in Santa Monica and working as a solo artist he's found his own sound, which is a reggae-based "island" style, largely acoustic with Latin percussion, shaped with the pop sensibility that has most likely come from his early childhood influences in 60's & 70's music.
