Juno award winning band, Pugs and Crows,performs original instrumental music that, true to its West Coast roots, explores elements of indie rock, creative music, and classical forms. The band infuses unique compositions with free improvisation, while anthemic melodies, beautiful lyricism, and inescapable groove inspire audiences from all walks of life. The Georgia Straight has praised the quintet’s “great strength and beauty" and "warm luscious sound,” singling out its blend of jazz roots, avant-rock influences, and a suite-like compositional sense.
