Sigmund Wilder is mostly inspired by the post punk, new romantic, new wave movement that emerged in the UK in the early 80's with bands such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Echo & The Bunnymen or New Order and by all their successors and disciples like Placebo, Interpol, Editors or PJ Harvey. The ghost of David Bowie is supervising the mood in every detail of the album from his own throne.
