Steve Myers teams up with the "I-Foundation" to release "You're Gonna Miss Me", one of the finest lovers rock singles to emerge from the UK Lovers Rock scene in recent years. During the 1980′s, Steve achieved notable success on the UK Lovers Rock and R&B scene, later moving to California in 1992, where he set up his own recording studio and spent the next decade working with various producers and singer/songwriters. Born of Jamaican parents, the Reggae and Lovers Rock influence has always been a key part of Steve’s work and for his recent release, Steve decided to work with top songwriter/producer/performer Kyle “I-Foundation” Robertson from “I-Foundation Music Productions” Steve commented. ”Kyle “I-Foundation” has a knack of creating that true Lovers Rock feel with that true one drop on the drums, real authentic guitar chop, harmonious keyboards and catchy hooks. Paul Dawkins was co-founder of reggae band “Tradition” who were also the backing band for Jamaican reggae stars such as Delroy Wilson, Alton Ellis and Owen Gray and touring with acts such as The Boomtown Rats, The Cars and Thin Lizzy. In 1977 Paul joined ”The Heptics”, and now working with Producer Delroy Witter and signed to his “D-Roy” record label, they scored a huge mainstream hit with ‘Natural Woman” In the early ‘80s Paul was working with Producer Patrick Cann from the “Arawak” Label and they had up a succession of reggae chart successes with ‘To Love Someone’, ‘Sweet Feelings’ and ‘One More Step’. Then during the mid 80’s Paul signed as a solo artist with the “Starlight” Label racking up reggae hits with songs such as ‘Spend Some Time Together’ and ‘Come My Baby’. Paul has remained a much respected and influential figure on the UK reggae scene and in addition to Steve Myers, Paul is currently working with “iFoundation Music Productions” on both re-recordings and original material.
