Meghan Rose is a singer/songwriter based in Madison, WI. She is classically trained in piano and was 'always the bridesmaid, never the bride' in competitions, which led her toward writing and picking up guitar rather than memorizing sonatas. She has been in several bands since she moved to Madison for college including Little Red Wolf, I Saw the Creature, Damsel Trash, The Heroins (Hole tribute band), The Bobby McGees (Janis Joplin tribute band). After saving up a lot of money and vacation time, she traveled to Canada to record with Neko Case's producer, Darryl Neudorf. After a year of writing and 10 days in the studio, she has a debut album that is raw and personal. She left her stable well-paying tech job to pursue a career in music and audio full time. She is now working out of Clutch Sound (FKA Smart Studios) as an artist in residence and recording engineer. 'In Your Bones' is her mission statement.
