JAMESON TABOR is a Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Actor, located in Los Angeles, California, originally from Portland, Oregon. He draws inspiration from Funk, R&B, Gospel, Rock and Dance music, while aiming to tell an emotional story at the core. Ultimately, his goal is to provide a positive and empowering journey about pursuing one's dreams and the emotional struggles one must face to do so. "I hope to inspire confidence, optimism and light in the darkness, through honest, emotional moments that bring people together. There is something about music that unites all of us, no matter where we are at." In fall of 2015, Jameson moved to Los Angeles to focus exclusively on writing pop music. In mid-October 2015, he began writing and recording his debut solo album, PURSUIT, featuring his original Dance-Pop music. In January of 2016, he produced and released his first single and music video, Eyes Shut, and has released pop covers on YouTube. ​ Jameson has also co-written and produced three original musicals for the stage, one of which received national recognition. Two others are still in progress. He continues to arrange and compose original music for a cappella groups, Gospel and Concert Choirs on demand. He has directed the music for seven theater productions, and directed his own Gospel choir and band program for three years in the Portland area. He founded his own, private voice and acting studio, The Tabor Studio, and has personally mentored and trained over 500 adult, middle school, and high school students. ​ As an actor, Jameson has held several leading roles, having been involved in over 35 stage productions, and multiple film shorts. At age 10, Jameson received a Drammy award for Best Young Performer in Portland, and has since received recognition from the city of Beaverton, and the state of Oregon for his work as a performer. Jameson founded the UO Arts Collaboration, and performed with the two-time National Champion Gospel Singers in their victories in 2011 and 2012. He has a degree in Theater Arts, Business Administration & Music from the University of Oregon.
