The album "This" took artist J.L. Williams five years to write and record. In that time, the artist took a break from Broadway, got married and divorce to end up on tour with Riverdance, recording most of the music while on tour. All of the songs are inspired by true life accounts from the artist as a reflection, the sound is very soulful with tons of emotions. J.L. is inspired by Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Beyonce, and Chris Brown. "This" album sound you will hear the pain and joys of going through life challenges and overcoming them.
