During TK’s musical upbringing, a veritable wave of Dancehall music permeated the United States, and TK found himself willingly “flowing with the current”. He loved the different melodies and the unmistakable rhythm and bass stylings that only the islands could create. TK has acquired a mastery of the genre, and he brings with his music all the fire and heat of Jamaica, with a certain edginess that can only be derived from his home town of Brooklyn. His music is amazing! TK prides himself in creating music that children can listen to with their parents, just as he listened to music with his father. He will not use profanity or suggestive content in his music, as “culture music” keeps TK well-grounded with a positive perspective on life, love, and family.
