Dontá Warren a.k.a Big Tay “da Mayor” is a music producer born in Portland Or., but resided in Atlanta GA for 17 years, and currently lives in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Growing up he always had an ear for good music of all genres but hip hop has always been his first love. However, moving to the caribbean He developed a new found love for Soca Music which lead to the discovery of the Nigerian sound know as Afrobeat. These influences can all be heard in the music he creates. His sound is a combination of these genres that he calls “Fusion”. This new single “Gimme Luv” came together when Tay came across the incredible Nigerian vocalist X-Tee on social media. The two came together with Virgin Islands rap duo Ken and Wayne, and the outcome is a smooth track that is sure to please audiences from all regions.
