Kev Willow's music has taken on a more sinister tone with Limitless, his fourth self-released dubstep smasher. Tried and tested on dancefloors up and down the country, Kev has been spinning this EP across London, Switzerland and beyond to a phenomenal response. A seething, at times bleak underground monster, Limitless has all the sleek, technical production Kev has honed in recent years whilst working on more commercial projects. Limitless is an unexpected moody and emotive number, with a great deal of atmospheric depth and previously unheard, but brilliantly executed noisework, which really hits home in the tracks breakbeat crescendo. The B, Eliminate is equally dark and on more of a 'backroom' tip than Limitless but with a coherent vibe and style that is definitely of Kev's making. Uniquely smooth and underground, with a bass break reminiscent of Willow's early days in hard dance, Eliminate is sure to be a riot-starter. With Kev's name becoming more and more known through his remix work, of late for the likes of DJ Shadow, Chase & Status and production work with Hadouken, Willow's own material is surely next in line for the limelight.
