Born in 1995, Jay Kayze was raised by a single-mother in Northern California. His love of music and poetry is as diverse as his own background. At just 19 years old he has embraced the freedom and creative license that comes from being an unsigned artist. To ensure he maintained complete autonomy while creating his first full-length project, the mixtape was completely self-funded. Now, after months of writing and recording, he has completed his first project to his own standards.
