From an inner west garage of Sydney, Second Nation originally came about in late 2008. Bridging the invisible barriers between modern Rock ,Punk and Garage, the bands raw sound recalls the days of smoke filled pubs, stale beer, sticky carpets and feeling your ears bleed watching bands like Psychotic Turnbuckles, Rose Tattoo and Beasts Of Bourbon, but is also reminiscent of the stripped-back, no frills sonic assault of contemporary bands like The Bronx, Eddy Current Suppression Ring and The Drones. Although at the end of the day the band considers itself simply Rock 'n' Roll. Made up of guitarist Marco Klave, bass player Rob (The Beast) Rankin and drummer Michael Surina with Marco and Rob sharing lead vocals, the sound of this power trio defies its size.

With the release of the 'Delinquent' E.P. and accompanying video for 'Breathe Easy' all is imminent for Second Nation to bring their road seasoned blend of back-to-basics songs and crowd-pleasing melodies to the notice of the public at large.
