Dear Criminals is an indie-folk project from Montreal.

It is the hypnotizing blend between Charles' unique vocals and Frannie's fragile voice. The haunted yet dreamlike soundscape made possible through the choice of unusual analog instruments, minimalist arrangements, and creative song structures is mainly the work of multi-instrumentalist Vincent Legault.

Dear Criminals’ first EP - weapons - is a deep yet modestly produced first recording. Six heteroclite titles such as the almost-folk F**k the stars with floating vocals lines and quiet ukulele, and the painfully charming Lover’s suicide which uses repetitive analog keyboards lines and simple yet poignant melodies.
