Born and raised in Southern California, Cecilia Blackwell (aka Celly Black) began her songwriting career when she was nine years old. Celly's style is Retro R&B Pop. Her music carries the nostalgia of 1990s era. Her biggest influences are Minnie Riperton, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, The Emotions, Mariah Carey and Faith Evans.
