Sharon Murphy comes from Clifden, Co Galway. Sharon's music could be described as Irish-soul-folk music with reggae influences due to Sharon's Caribbean heritage. Much of Sharon's music comes out of her personal experiences growing up in Ireland. Sharon has performed all over Ireland as well as performing a number of times in the USA, England, and Germany.
