The Iron Butterfly elements gain the much stronger hand, with the occasional strong moment emerging when the vocal harmonies come to the fore. The CD adds six bonus tracks: four alternate takes of songs from the album and two folk-rock flavored tracks (including a female vocalist) cut in 1967, when they were known as Stonehenge.
