My name is Sara James. I am a 16 year old singer/songwriter/musician. I started my own music foundation when I was 13 years old, and we provide music lesson scholarships for less fortunate children who otherwise could not afford them. I don't feel that money should be a barrier for children that have the same passion for music that I do. I have been in a few bands and played all over South Jersey and Philadelphia, from the Jersey Shore to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio. My biggest gig to date was playing for THON in Penn State for over 15,000 people raising money for childhood cancer. Currently I am doing acoustic solo gigs while I take some time to write and record some originals. I don't have a specific genre that I fit into as I like, Indie, Pop, Folk and Rock. Every song I write is different depending on my mood!
