A merger a decade in the making, ETHiK formed in August 2003. Tim Tallent, rhythm guitar, and Scott Edgmon, lead guitar, formed the band after a desire to rock again. Shortly after the formation, Jimmy Dotson entered the picture with his Thunder Drum mentality. Kelly Burden, with his superior vocal form and stamina, entered ETHiK in December 2003. When Kelly Burden entered the band, the wheels began to turn and in March 2004, Larry Tullock joined and brought his precision axe with him. After a few months and a short demo album, ETHiK realized that the country needed a new feel and a new sound. After months and months of studio work and planning, Comin Home was finished and released in April 2005. Now along the way, ETHiK did several events, most in the way of benefits for those less fortunate or seriously ill. This was the mentality used in creating the new album. The Other Side is dedicated to our troops who fight and die for us so we may enjoy our lives undisturbed.

ETHiK's main influences are drawn from KISS, John Cougar Mellencamp, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, RATT, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama, Garth Brooks and many more. As you can see, with influences drawn from such a wide genre of artist, ETHiK's destiny is only up to the fans.
