Four Unique Mindz aka 4UM was established in 2012 as a combination of four MCs with varying styles and sounds. The aim was to collectively grasp all four markets and create a new sound in hip-hop. Birthed from the original Motown, the Detroit foursome has made waves in no time. Composed of KPZ, D**e Da Vinci, AL-IN, and Gutta Grimm, the Four Unique Mindz released their debut CD "Welcome 2 The 4UM" in November of 2012. They have been on shows opening up for large crowds and big names, such as Bizzy Bone, Lil Wyte, Prozac, Hopsin, and more, Their relentless drive to succeed, coupled with strong music with well formulated concepts, sepeartes them from the rest of this watered down and over-populated industry. They followed up their debut with a free online release of "MITTEN MADE CYPHERZ VOLUME 1", which is their own spin on a mixtape. In this, they invited other up and coming MCs in Michigan to join them for 8 bars a piece over original beats and topically focused on different elements of music and marketing.
