Is It Balearic? have been on a fine run of form recently, and that rich vein continues with this latest 10' courtesy of Phil Mison & Pete Herbert's much lauded Reverso 68 project. Baa Boo is exactly the kind of blissfully dreamy groove we've come to expect from this accomplished production duo; musical, melodic and tailor-made for sunnier climes. By 'eck, it really is Balearic. On the flip we shift through the gears for the brilliant 'Piano 89'. It's pretty self explanatory really, but for the benefit of those not pushing 40 / 50, it's an old school house jam, drenched in the kind of Italo piano hook that used to ignite late 80s dancefloors, plus a clever little sample from the Fatback Band's 'Spanish Hustle'. A surefire dancefloor filler.
