Citizen Schools is the leading non-profit provider of after-school programs, preparing undeserved students for achievement and leadership in high school, college, the workforce, and civic life. Our program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders blend rigorous academic support with real-world "apprenticeships" - fun, hands on learning projects tought by business and community volunteers. The result: a 40% expansion of learning time and significant gains in academic and leadership skills. This CD is the product of the 2006 Citizen Schools 8th Grade Academy.
