After the success of the Craig Hamilton Back to the Beats EP, 6th Sense Music returns with the first of a two part Sampler. The idea behind the samplers is to showcase the full spectrum of musical styles the label has to offer. In this the first part we have a nice mixture of Jackin, Deep and Tech tracks to give something for everyone on the Underground floors. Up first we have Monoman Panic. Fresh from releases on Magnetic, Robsoul and Guesthouse Monoman doesnt disappoint with his trademark Jackin Beats and tech arrangements. Panic is peak time track that easily shows why DJ Sneak, Mastiksoul and Jason Hodges are all fans of his work. Next up is Combined ft Bret G Its Easy. This is the second outing on the label from Combined after the I Got Your Feet EP under his Dave Decase moniker. Its Easy takes in all the influence from traditional Chicago House but brings it bang up to date with a cool vox and nice chords. Last but no means least is Shake It by C-Soul. This is Deep House track that ticks all the boxes to be a hit, with luscious chords, haunting pads and a blatantly wicked groove. As if that wasn't enough there is also a twist of acid thrown in for good measure to finish off the package nicely. I think you will be hearing allot more from C-Soul in the future!
