Dynamic South San Francisco rap artist Yung Stooey (a.k.a. Stoo Marley, Stoo Hefner) continues the proud tradition of Bay Area icons Mac Dre and Andre Nickatina with high-energy, spirited raps about living life to the fullest in full smoked-out party-mode . Born in San Francisco and raised in Fairfield, Stoo was heavily influenced the aforementioned artists as well as San Quinn & E-40 and started writing rhymes at the age of 14 . Now over a decade later, Stoo has released an album with the group Money Gettin' Souljaz entitled Out Here Gettin’ It and also has three solo mixtapes under his belt: Peacoats, Beanies & Gold Ones and Come Smoke With Me (volumes 1 & 2) . Listening to the evolution of his flow over that time, there is no denying the maturation and development of his sound . Much as the game tends to slow down to an elite quarterback over time, Stoo now lets his hooks & verses come to him instead of him having to scramble to keep up . As for what’s next for this talented Bay Area artist, Yung Stooey has nearly finished recording his debut solo album Now or Never that's slated to drop in 2015 and will be dropping some singles leading up to the album release date .
