Love, Light and Harmony was formed in April 2012 by singer and guitarist, John Michael Hutchinson from Beaver Dam, WI and musician Penny Paiser-Wilson from Neenah, WI. Over the course of the next year and a half, the two collaborated to write a collection of chants that utilize ancient mantras rich with their energy and healing vibrations, modern rhythms and harmonies and classical western instrumentation. They shared these chants with their audiences, working to build community and opening a space to recognize and remember that we are all connected on a vibrational level. In November of 2013, they began recording and finished mastering in early fall 2014. Love, Light and Harmony leads regular monthly kirtans in Appleton and Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. They are frequent guest musicians for area yoga studios, festivals, charity events, farmers’ markets and coffee shops. He resides in Beaver Dam, WI where he leads an area song writers group and teaches guitar. On “The Dance of Life” he sings and plays guitar and bass. Penny Paiser-Wilson is a music educator in Neenah, WI. She plays woodwinds with local and professional theater. She is a clarinetist with Fox Valley Symphony. On “The Dance of Life” she sings and plays flute, clarinet, tenor sax, keyboard and percussion.
