Mz. Bossy is a New Orleans born, Mississippi raised Boss Chick now residing in Anchorage Alaska. Her love for music began at an early age and ranged from singing in church choirs to heavy blue grass/jazz influenced music due to growing up around it being that her parents were deep into there southern roots. Destined to be great she started honing her musical skills at the age of 10. Coming from a musical family Mz. Bossy loved to sing and eventually began to write music. Having a nack for poetry her writing skills developed during her teenage years. Now these days after experiencing life in the mean streets of Anchorage she has turned her love for music and poetry and transformed them in personal triumphs on tracks using witty rhyme schemes and a cold flow. Influenced by real story tellers in music such as Mary J Blige, MC Lyte and Queen Latifah, Bossy always loved female mc’s and started writing music again after hearing K Michelle music while going thru a hard break up. Being a up and coming hip hop artist is hard work but she is no stranger to hard work. Mz. Bo$$y is a staple in the community, heading up charity events for AWAIC shelter and Alaska Thick Mamis and being an advocate for Domestic Violence and Suicide Prevention. Never missing out on a moment to promote music she is also a co-founder of DivaTV907 which showcases local talent in Anchorage Alaska.

As a newly formed rap artist, Mz. Bossy is ready to shake up the Anchorage scene and take names doing it. Being herald as the best female MC in the state she is quickly rising to stardom.
