Dreamy guitar progressions, a haunting voice that touches the soul, and a magic flute.. Album Background Darrin and I were sitting on top of the Tegelberg mountain near Tegernsee, on the first Alps mountain range just south of Munich, Germany. It was a bright, sunny day. The slightly hazy blue sky above connifer covered mountains provided a stunning and inspiring view. After some hiking we did some yoga and just enjoyed the timeless moment. That's when I took the front cover picture - to which I then added a paint effect. So we decided to play and record together. Darrin came over with his guitar and I set up my recording studio in my living room. We just hit the record button and started playing. This - unedited - album is the result. All effects were done with the live recording, so you're hearing exactly what we heard - as if you were with us in the studio. As with real life, things aren't always perfect - there may be a slightly 'crooked sounding' (blue :) ) note or a dropped beat somewhere - but to me that's part of the beauty of it. Isn't it the little imperfections in nature that make it perfect? So join us in my Giesing living-room and enjoy! :) Our music is an expression of our lives, a reflection of our experiences, our feelings, our soul. Perhaps you can hear the flute on "This Ride" getting a little thin sounding during my solo? That was because tears were running into my aperture.- "Freedom" is another song that really speaks to my heart, as I lost my personal freedom due to manipulation by a religious group, the 'Unfication Church'. It took nearly 7 years until I 'woke up' again. So glad I'm free again! Perhaps you don't realize how precious your freedom is unless you have lost ist - even for a time. And you don't realize it until you've regained it. "Don't let go of freedom - our right to choose! Don't let go of freedom, baby - we will not lose." Thanks for a timeless magic moment, Darrin! Like a barde of old you sing your heart's content with flourish and style. Good on ya, brother! You're da man! It was a pleasure and an honor.
