Tom and Angela met in 2007 at the Zuzu Cafe Open Mic in Madison WI which Angela currently hosts. They have been collaborating musically both in the studio and in live performance settings during the past year. Angela has been composing and performing music throughout her life and specializes in arrangements for both vocal and instrumental harmonies. She collaborates with Tom and other music partners to perform at concerts, festivals, benefits, hospitals, and therapeutic settings throughout the Madison area. Angela has been singing since the age of two, and showed an early and continuing ear for harmony vocals. Throughout her adult life, she has developed her own unique approach to the finger-style acoustic guitar. In the past year, she has cultivated a distinctive style on the acoustic bass as well. This she accomplished through composing inventive bass lines to support Tom's songs. Tom has been an active songwriter throughout his life. He spent many years performing in a duo with his brother Paul Zografi in which Tom played harmonica and percussion. Over the last ten years, Tom has concentrated on his individual songwriting, the fruits of which appear on the current CD "Down Deep." Tom continues to develop his singular rhythm guitar and vocal style with Angela and other musical performers. As their partnership matures, Tom and Angela have found a natural ability to combine their songwriting styles into soulful compositions which bode well for future CD's.
