Three years in the making, "Outlaw Psychosis" was written and recorded in the band’s rehearsal space, thanks to a recording set up from the album’s producer and engineer, Ben Rosoto. The album includes re-recordings of the three songs featured on the band’s 2010 EP release which included the songs, “Heroes of the New Aeon,” “Hands of Misery,” and the EP’s title track “50 Miles,” as well as a number of previously unreleased tracks. With a sound described as "Pennsylvania Backwoods Party Metal," the album is a melting pot of genres and influences.
