Inspired first and foremost by their faith, OneWord creates, records, and performs music that is also influenced by their eclectic musical interests. Their lyrics reflect their experiences as Christians and their compositions are colored with hints of folk, jazz, rock, and pop music. Jodi Johnstone (vocals) and Katie Williamson (vocals and keyboards) share lead vocals and specialize in tight and creative harmonies. The band also features Tom Alter on guitar and other string instruments, Charlie Brown on drums, and Randy Peslar on bass and percussion. OneWord is based in suburban Detroit, Michigan. They have released two CDs of original, contemporary, Christian music. Their self titled album "OneWord" was released in 2009 and their latest album "Undivided" in 2011.
