Akila Cook is an Christian Hip Hop artist out of Dallas, TX! He has a passion for spreading through the music that God has placed on his heart to write. He has released an album entitled "Ready For War" back in 2009 and set to release his 2nd album entitled "Face 2 Face" in 2016! He has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with artist such as KB, This'l and Trip Lee(both artist on Reach Records) and American Idol contestants such as George Huff and Vincent Powell, Amber Holcomb and many other artist in different genres! His passion for reaching people and just for music is endless and he is excited to see what the Lord has in store next His first album has production from: Prophet Vibe Records, The G.R.E.A.T Music Group, Tim, Adamack, and Chris Blount.. Also featured on the Album is, Explicit, Trey Gandy, and G.T.K.. Along with his first cd release at the age of 18, he also won The Texas Has Talent Competition at Friendship West Baptist Church!!
