简介
Decency were born in 1996, as a collaboration between three childhood friends. Steeped in the classic sound of 80’s new wave synth pop – dominated by Depeche Mode – Decency rose to hometown fame and gathered a small but passionate fan base. A few songs were released through collaborative CDs, but the bands own releases were kept either bootleg or limited. When ‘Final Call’ was released in 2006 it too was released in a very small edition; limited only to fans who visited that final show. The edition was sold out but no new copies were produced – the band actively supporting fans to talk to each other and copy it among friends. The album was to be the last “true” release of the band, but separate tracks was released as Decency returned to guest various venues around Sweden. One track was even released to the public in “normal fashion” (“Doesn’t Matter” – featured as track no 5 on this album). Although Decency haven’t officially recorded anything new for several years, we haven’t lost faith in them yet. The digital release of ‘Final Call’ is yet another kick proving that this ol’boy ain’t dead quite yet!
