I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and was influenced musically by american music at large...and rnb hip pop and pop in particular. I have yearned for a while to retrace my steps back deep into my roots, back to the culture that was even before i was born, back to the world where music dance and rhythm was a lifestyle....and through this search, i have discovered traditions that date way back, traditions accompanied by stories, music and dance...and i am now picking them up and combining with my own musical influences over time to try and create a unique sound.
