Popgrass: it's what you get when you cross the old-timey banjo/harmonica/mandolin/slide-guitar arrangements of bluegrass with loop- and sample-based beats of pop. Throw in a butt-load of vocal harmonies common to both styles, and there you have it!

A veteran of many bands and many miles on the road, my focus has recently shifted from playing the side-man to producing and performing my own material. With the vocal help of Deedee Butters (of The Peptides), Dina Carter, and Ty Hall (of Ty Hall), this debut solo EP tells the story of getting back on my feet after a crawling through rough patch. From the “Why does facebook know more about my break-up than me?” of “Fire&Lies” to the “Was that my one kick at the can?” of “One Shot” to the “Oh yeah, so this is what it feels like to fall in love!” of “It's You”, this is an intensely personal record that helped me *ahem* pick it up again.
