Thirty years ago St. Louis MO band Witch Doctor would have been dubbed heavy metal giants. In today's musical landscape however, hard rock* will have to do.....with an asterisk; *riff heavy, throwback rock with occasional swampy-punk overtones that walks a tightrope between all that is hard and still has popular appeal. What you get is: Witch Doctor rock & roll. Combine that recipe with a live show that strikes quick and holds you down with volume and energy which in turn fuels the vocals and stage bravado of a live-wire frontman.........and a genre is born.

Trail blazed by guitarist/bassist Chris Walker in March 2012, Witch Doctor make the claim that they'll "put rock & roll on their backs and carry it across the finish line". Their influences cover the spectrum of greats including Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Guns and Roses, Motorhead.....and so on. Walker, drummer Ted Magos, enigmatic vocalist Paddy Lee Bling and live bassist Chase Murphy deliver a neo-classic vibe coupled with razor sharp songwriting that will stand the test of time.
