简介
"Advice to Young Lovers" was originally recorded in Tasmania and in Sydney if the early 1990s. Members of O Serpent were drawn from Hobart progressive rock outfits "Hogweed" and "Earthsea". Merging these two bands saw players join forces together in Sydney where they rehearsed and recorded and played a number of key gigs to consolidate the band's unique sound. O Serpent drew on the musical services of a number of ex-pat Tasmanians resident in Sydney (David Holmes and James Lockett). They also secured the services of well established players of national prominence: Ian Miller and Ian Clyne. "Advice to Young Lovers" presents a tastefully balanced portfolio of great rock songs complemented by engaging instrumentals that all together showcase a classic album of contemporary music that continues to highlight the wealth of musical talent in the very special isle of Tasmania.
