A CD of turn-of-the-century trumpet duets by Frederic Bonnisseau, Walter Eby, Wilhelm Kopprasch, and two original duets from Eddie Lewis' Celebrations duet book. The CD is themed with vintage photos and cover art and attempts to take the listener back to a time before airplanes, before cars, and before television.

All the works on this CD are performed by trumpeter, Eddie Lewis. According to Lewis, this CD is "an attempt to capture all that was good in people at the turn of the century, over a hundred years ago". Almost all of the compositions included in Vintage Trumpet Treasures are in a style that was prevalent between 1850 and 1920. There are marches, polaccas, waltzes and quick steps. All of the music is rich, wholesome and gradually unfolding. The harmonies are fluid and pleasing and dissonance is always quickly resolved.
