Ghost In The Willow is a solo project fronted by Gil of the Phoenix, AZ punk band The Combat Medic. With image-laden lyricism and gruff vocal delivery, Gil manages a kind of sorrowful yet hopeful slow dance through genres. Sometimes backed by a few musicians and sometimes going it alone, performing songs in the key of heartache is what Ghost In The Willow does best. Yab Yum Music & Arts had this to say about the self titled debut EP “What makes this EP enjoyable is how true to form and accessible the songs are from the first go ’round.” Armed with a few chords & songs people can relate to, Ghost In The Willow aims to bring a little bit of himself to as many ears and hearts as possible through sincere performances and honest passion.
