Way back during the dawn of the War in Iraq, I was so shocked to learn that the Congress had voted to cut the benefits for our service personnel. I wished that I had the ability to step in and help the families of our soldiers, who besides suffering their absence, found it difficult to pay for the necessities of everyday life. Not having the financial means to do so, I thought of a way that I might possibly be able to help raise funds so that instead of just wishing I could help - I would - through my music. We all have our opinion about this war - some believe it was the right thing to do and others do not. But one thing I think we can all agree on, is that the men and women of our great nation who made a commitment to serve and protect, deserve our love and gratitude. My family and I are deeply thankful to all these men and women and their families. Their sacrifice is the epitome of selflessness. I hope, through the sales of this CD, to be able to make many of these courageous families lives a little brighter - and to show them that we truly appreciate their sacrifice for us all.
