Agustine is a Gospel Reggae Artist that began his reggae career back in 1990 as the keyboardist for the international reggae band "The Zioniers", considered as the founding fathers and pioneers of reggae music in St. Lucia, US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. He was born and raised in a Christian family and learned to play the Piano at 10 under the wing of Piano Virtuosa Alba Rosa Castro. Continuing his musical education with piano legends like Luis Marin, Mariano Morales, and his uncle in law and latin piano extraordinaire Luis Quevedo Alfaro. His father, Agustin Arce, is a legendary Salsa Artist that recorded numerous Salsa hits and reached the top charts of Salsa during the 70's alongside of Salsa legends like Hector Lavoe, Richie Ray y Bobby Cruz, Celia Cruz, Rey Barreto, Eddie Palmieri and many others. Following his father's footsteps Agustine recorded background vocals with Grammy Award Winner Bobby Cruz in the Album "Romantico". In 1988, at the age of 18 Agustine drifted away from church and became a professional musician playing all genres but mostly Salsa, Jazz, Blues, Rock and Reggae out in the local clubs and events. At age 21 he went to live on his own and was recruited as the keyboard player for "The Zioniers" becoming the first puertorrican to perform on tour and record with an international reggae band, therefore some people call him "The Legend". After more than (10) years sharing the stage with all the big names in the reggae genre, such as Ziggy Marley, Aswad, Lucky Dube, Don Carlos, Black Uhuru, Culture, Burning Spears, Steel Pulse, Alpha Blondie and many others, he found Jesus and surrendered his life to Christ. Consequently, he took a pause from his musical career to redefine himself. During that time he entered lawschool where he became a lawyer in 2004. After a resting period from the reggae scene he got the divine call to minister and spread the gospel of Jesus through reggae music. Therefore after some years of preparation, in 2013 he founded Sonic Temple Studios with fellow reggae artist Kelbo Groove and seasoned reggae keyboardist and producer Cesar "The Bubbler" Altamirano and began to produce his first gospel reggae album "Out of Babylon" alongside a handful of talented musicians called the Zion Soul Crew, composed by Alvaro Jimenez on Rythm Guitar, Ottoniel Landrau on Lead Guitar, Karif Figueroa on Drums, Danny Marquez on Alto Sax, Jan Freytes on Tenor Sax, Enrique Lopez on Trombone, and renowned music producer and former Daddy Yankee's crew member Eduard "Fenndel" Rivera on Bass and sound engineering. With this combination Agustine and the Zion Soul Crew bring a heavy roots rock reggae powerful enough to spread the gospel to the most demanding reggae audience.
