This album was recorded in two days in Brooklyn, NY and all 9 songs are original compositions by guitarist Davide Tammaro. This record features some great musicians from the contemporary jazz and funk scene and they all played live together in different settings from quartet-featuring Panagiotis Andreou on bass, Pasquale Strizzi on Piano/ Rhodes and Andrew Atkinson on drums- to organ trio with Jake Sherman on Hammond B3, and organ trio plus Alex Han on alto Sax. “Davide Tammaro displays a just-right ability to shift styles”. Nick DeRiso Davide Tammaro is a Guitar Player and Composer from Naples, Italy. Davide starts playing the guitar at the age of 12. Mentored by Maestro Raimondo Di Sandro, in 2007, Davide earns a Degree (Summa cum laude) in Classical Guitar at the “San Pietro A Majella Music Conservatory”, in Naples. During those years in Italy Davide also starts playing different styles of music from rock to jazz in several bands performing in many clubs, theaters, festivals and local Radio and TV shows. In 2008 Davide, upon receiving a Scholarship from the Berklee College of Music, moves to Boston to study four years in the prestigious college. At Berklee Davide plays with many young talented musicians of the new generation, works as studio musician in the Film Scoring Department and as accompanist guitar player for the Percussion Festival. In 2011 he earns a Diploma in Performance Major (Summa cum laude). His private teachers in US include Hal Crook, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, Jeff Galindo, Rick Peckham and Wayne Krantz among others. After graduating at Berklee Davide moves to NYC and starts working as freelance guitarist for several artists and bands in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Abu Dhabi and in Italy playing many styles form funk, jazz and blues to pop. Some festivals and media performances in US include: SXSW in Austin, TX; Beantown jazz festival, Folk Festival and Percussion festival in Boston, MA; radio "CRC targato Italia" in Naples, Italy; Radio KIIS, Bite Size TV and MTV west coast showcases in Los Angeles, CA among others.
