THE CATALYST OF LIGHT

The works contained in this compendium bring about a revealing synthesis of my compositional output for the exact resonance of the six strings. Spurred on by fervent certainty, which has always been and always will be an essential path for me, I present the result of an intense creative journey and research during more than a decade. Influences and tradition have been key elements in the inclusion in my thought processes and personal style in this historical continuum. The search for and necessity to feel a different sound which is personal, sensitive and communicative is inextricably linked to the rich inheritance of my predecessors, both near and far, and rather than casting a shadow it has been my guide. It had led me to an ever expanding timbric scope; colourful, mystical

and yet human- a reflection of my true compositional sense. On this journey I have dedicated special attention to one of the most loved instruments of my memory: the guitar. I have placed my faith in the generosity and humanity of those with whom I am together on this wonderful path and in that necessary and indestructible bond: composer-performer. The gifted guitarist Adam Levin and the gallery of fine collaborating artists in this singular recording are the accurate reflection of my creative and personal manifestation.
