At Sneaky Music we pride ourselves in supporting young artists and take great pleasure in seeing them grow. We are especially excited to introduce Ground16, two very talented and young artists from Switzerland who are breaking onto the scene with their second release, the 'Motion Signals EP'. David Josseron, who focuses on production and Bastien Mouthon, David's partner in crime in the DJ booth, are university students from the small town of Vevey. When they're not studying for their degrees in Economics and Media Interaction Design, the two are fine tuning their sound, finding inspiration in a wide range of musical genres such as techno, Detroit house, disco and jazz, as well as funk, lo-fi, grime, and UK bass. Their knowledge and passion for music is clearly and beautifully expressed in their unique productions. This EP is their freshman debut and these four tracks tell the story of two truly talented individuals with a bright future ahead.

'Motion Signals' is a deep, emotional soul melter with atmospheric synths and smooth drums, opening the EP with a mellow, bright vibe. 'Kroywen City' continues with the spacey rhythms, but quickly picks up with a punchy, driving kick and well-accompanied hi-hats. An exciting, uplifting baseline mixed with heavy toms and a great synth make 'Street Dust' a floor filler. 'This World' uses wonderful vocal samples, a steady conga beat, and awesome acid house bass lines to drift listeners off their feet and into the dance floor. '43Club' is where Ground16 really show off their creative production skills, presenting an amazing fusion of high energy disco samples and acid house in a driving track made for the dance floor. 'Motion Signals EP' is the start of a promising, exciting career for this Swiss duo and an essential grab for your record bag.
