My music has always been about what I felt and my ability to put it all together. 98 % of all the tracks are played and recorded by me. The drums are from an Roland 880. The studio is my personal 24 track I built in my home. I enjoy Laying one track at a time and listening to it coming together. I have been writing music since 1968 and it is from the heart and soul. It expresses how I felt at different times in my life. I've had an interesting life as a musician, you might say that I've paid my dues. I am self taught with limited instructions from a music teacher from beginning at age seven. At 18 years old, I played with my friend Michael Fugett in Sherman Texas and after moving to Dallas. In Dallas I was able to play with artist and bands such as the late great Big Jack Dixon, Jolly George, Big Bo Thomas, Freddie King, Z. Z. Hill. From there I became an original member of Bobby Patterson and the Mustangs. With Bobby Patterson our band not only did backup for Bobby but Eddie Floyd, The Coasters, Dobbie Gray, and Bobby Sherman. After leaving Bobby Patterson I did backup for Ray Sharp, Al Green, Jackie Wilson and then to my own show. I retired to my studio in 2008 so there is much more to come.
