In the 1980's the landscape of music was changing, bands like Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax were taking metal to a whole new level with aggression, speed and all out chaos. If you liked that aggressive sound this album is for you! Originally released in 1988, Aragon's self titled debut fit right in with the agressive sound that changed metal even through present day. Digitally remastered with two new songs previously not available on the LP. Though the band was from Long Island, New York, they achieved regular rotation on syndicated radio stations such as Z Rock based out of Dallas, TX. Radio personality Mad Max Hammer took a liking to the sound of Aragon's music and introduced them to the masses via the airwaves on his syndicated on air radio show. The band unfortunately dis-banded after two short years, but in that time Aragon left a mark on the music of that era. This Album features the original members Rob Andersen on vocals, Vinny Ciminera on Bass, Gerry Holtz on drums and Mike Pope on guitars.
