This CD was was a project created as a labor of love with family and friends to bring back a nostalgic era of music that the artist Jessi Campo has always loved and appreciated. Jessi’s distinctive appreciation for glamorous attire and her passion during her heartfelt performances make her an incredible entertainer with a special touch that captures all audiences. Often compared to Natalie Cole and Etta James in her vocal style, she is an indisputably exceptional talent who has found the perfect style of music to fit her sultry voice. Inspired by friends, family and her parents Giovanni and Nina who have performed with many famous Latin performers back in the days such as Tito Puente, Josephine Baker, Beny More and many more, Jessi decided to release her Bilingual CD this year. The upcoming CD, titled “At Last,” is filled with classic Boleros like “Como Fue” by Beny More, "Nosotros" a duet with her Dad , arranged by Latin Grammy Nominated Recording artists Negroni's Trio and Jazz standards like her beautiful rendition of "The Very Thought of You". There is also the Etta James song “At Last” performed as a duet with a cute twist at the end of the song. The CD has some fabulous original songs that capture the time period as well and takes you back in time, such as the first single released from the album which is “Some People Say” with a Ragtime feel and nostalgic music video that will appeal to all ages. Jessi chose to collaborate with long time musicians friends and family so each classic song would take on new life and meaning for every listener.
