This is part of the ethos of the cyberpunk, a culture and philosophy Luxotek has identified with since his youth, and one which has influenced his music. Usually, Polluted Axis is known for its Rhythmic Noise, with notable exceptions such as the dubstep inspired Dubsuck Chronicles, and Trepanation Nation, another cyberpunk influenced album.

With Manifesto, Polluted Axis explores even further into the dystopian world of the cyberpunk. Gone is the brutal assault from walls of noise; in their places are feelings and emotions of skulking through the night and an oppressive police state watching your every move. Fans of the noise, fear not, Manifesto retains the signature Polluted Axis sound, but the noise is sparser and more precisely used than A Day In The Life Of…
