After releasing the 1st POND. which has become my most polarizing project yet surprisingly, I thought I was done with this chapter of my artistic journey. POND. was meant to be a double project at first containing 16 songs split into 8 songs each, but I felt it was going to be too long of a project. That's when I called in Lungelo my manager & executive producer to come Hear out the project with a different ear & reduce the project. the task in mind was to make POND. feel like a Vogue magazine in the early 1960's, olympics in the 60's as well as specific scenes in the movie Gatsby & Marilyn Monroe. Majority of the project was recorded with the movie Gatsby playing in the background, some clips of the Olympic Games in the 60's & photoshoots of Marilyn Monroe. My sound engineer Ofentse is the one who kept convincing me that POND. isn't complete yet without the 2nd part of the project & that part 2 the most vital piece of the puzzle. The more I listened & had conversations with friends, the more I realized how game changing the project as a whole will be in the future. HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY MY LATEST EFFORT WITH LOVE.
